Aims

. To offer the key entry point for industry to access Scotland's tourism research providers
. To catalyse and facilitate University research expertise around national tourism priorities and create synergy through networking
. To co-ordinate education expertise to assist industry, public sector and government tourism policy, strategy and research
. To provide a co-ordinated approach for access to nationally relevant tourism research and higher education provision in Scotland.

Scope of the Network

This initiative represents a co-ordinated approach by all higher education institutions in Scotland involved in tourism research.

Outputs

The key output of TKS will be knowledge transfer through the co-ordinated approach of tourism researchers closely engaging with the emergent knowledge economy.
